How to use Google Analytics to optimise business performance

Google Analytics is the most widely used tool in the web analytics space. But simply looking at reports does not add any business value.  The value comes from extracting insights from Google Analytics data and using these to make smarter decisions and to take the right actions. This course is focused on educating attendees on how to use Google Analytics for just this purpose, to get more value out of the tool, not on how to look at more reports.

This course starts with the concepts behind Google Analytics, going through changes you can make to the set-up and how to use key functionality before covering the actual use of the data, how to find the insights. Practical examples will be provided throughout, based on our experiences, on how to get at the real insights within Google Analytics and how to use this information.

Taught in the heart of London at Ayima’s London office above Smithfield Market, we’ll show you how experts optimise business performance using Google Analytics. You’ll leave with a set of actions to improve the quality of data available to you and how to access useful insights that inform smarter actions to improve your business performance.

Who is this Analytics training workshop for?

This training course is for current users of Google Analytics who are aware they are not using it to full effect. It is not intended for people who specialise in Google Analytics but instead people who use Google Analytics as part of their job. A laptop with access to Google Analytics will be required to get full advantage of the material we will cover.

The workshop will cover technical Google Analytics configuration instructions, focusing on what is realistic to achieve when not a specialist. The options for customising the tracking code, directly on the website or through a Tag Management Solution will be explained but the technical skills to implement this are not required. An understanding of business objectives and therefore the intended use of Google Analytics data is expected.

If you know you are missing out on the insights and value buried within Google Analytics, then this course is for you. It will be practical session, designed to give you actions that you can start with the next day.

Peter O’Neill
